State Fair Samplers: Modern Quilts and Summer Fun

The State Fair Sampler was inspired by a mosaic of quilt blocks on the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Going to the fair is one of my family’s favorite summer activities and I just had to make a quilt with some of the quilt blocks!

Here are all the details:

There are 36 blocks in 6 different sizes:

• (1) 36” block
• (1) 32” block
• (5) 24” blocks
• (3) 16” blocks
• (15) 12” blocks
• (11) 8” blocks

• Queen: 96” x 92”
• Small Throw: 48” x 60”
• Large Throw: 62” x 72”
• Crib: 32” x 36”
